It's a full touch screen with QUERTY keyboard and the upright format. As well as Bluetooth and an actual built in 3.2 megapixel camera with a flash feature. The internet is great on it and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had the LG Chocolate (the second version) and it was great, except for the fact that the lights on the outside went out within the first year :/

BUT I totally recommend anything from Verizon. It truly does have service everywhere. I have yet (in my 4 years of having the service) to get the "no signal" sign
My friend has the Dare and she loved it at first but after a month of having it, it started giving her problems. She's had to replace it and now the replacement is acting up too. Now she hates the thing. My ex's sister had the Chocolate and had to replace it several times because it kept breaking. Now, I'm not saying this will always happen, as my brother has a Chocolate and hasn't had any problems with it as far as I know. But the fancier phones do seem to be way more prone to having issues.

My vote will always be for the iPhone. It's an amazing phone that is insanly easy to use. Well worth the money, won't be going back to another phone.

I take back everything I said earlier! My new BlackBerry randomly died yet again, so I've decided to take the plunge and get an iPhone. I already have it ordered, just waiting for it to arrive... then plan on selling my replacement BlackBerry. I'm not sure why my BlackBerry's keep dying, but after 6 replacements now... enough is enough! =(

Well later today I'm getting a G1 from T Mobile, and personally, I think it is the best and most reliable phone I have ever used(my fiance has one). It's got a micro sd card slot, you can access the FULL internet, youtube, texting, im, email notifications via gmail, it has a touch screen and full keyboard, you can run/buy apps, 3.2 mp camera and it has 3g and works in edge and 2g networks as well.
The T-Mobile G1 with Google phone | Official Site However, for the phone itself it costs around 400$, but if you go through t-mobile and get a two year plan w/ activation it should be around 150$.
I would recommend this phone to anyone.

Ah but you can get a used or brand new iPhone for the same if not less and you can do even more with them. I am very bias to Apple products tho
The look of the iPhone is great! looks awesome. You can get it in different colors and it works sooo smoothly. It's a very easy machine to use, I even took it with me when I went to France! I had absolutely incredible service there. Didn't cut out once! not only that but I had service there in some places where local cell phones didn't(but I think technology here is a lot more advanced than what they have there).

The other huge bonus as well, is how easy it is to link absolutely everything between your computer and your iPhone. You can make your own ringtones directly from songs and not those crap duotones or bought ringtones.

Applications are also insaly cheap and ever so easy to get and install.

I could go on and on about the iPhone. Its an incredible machine.

For the G1, most of the apps that you would want are free. And it is practically bombproof, you can drop it, and it still works, doesn't get scratched, nothing. And if you need wifi for your laptop and there is no wifi around, you can use your phone for it. And with the G1 you can custom order it with a design or color that isn't necessarily sold in stores.
I'm biased towards the Android and HTC systems...as my fiance created the system that is being used for Verizon's new HTC Hero.
Anyway, I don't hate the iphone, I just think that it wouldn't be suitable for me, and those who I have known to have one have ended up hating it. But whatever works for the owner.

Same here!
I <3 it. I've dropped it, got it wet etc and it still works like a dream and the internet is AMAZING!
