Changing Wifi password help.

I need help. I need to change my Wifi password [because awful roommate decided not to pay me his share of the bill, so he doesn't deserve internet anymore]. The problem is that I do not have the laptop I used to set up the Wifi and I couldn't figure out how to do it on my other roommate's laptop [I am computer-less]. Is there a way for me to do it from her laptop? If you know how, I need step by step "pretend I'm stupid" instructions, as this is way over my head. I'm a technological retard. -_-

If there is no easy way, I'm calling Comcast and will see if they can walk me through it, or see if I can bring in the modem and just exchange it for a new one, or cancel internet altogether [as it is more inconvenient for awful roommate to not have it than it is for my other roommate and I].

But anyways, changing the password would be ideal. Any help from those that are more tech-savvy than I? Pretty please!? Thanks in advance!

It's your router that has the password, not the modem. Look for your routers box or check their website for instructions. You'll have to go to a specific IP address to do it.

Thank you, but you think I'm smarter than I am, lol. You may as well have just typed out the alphabet for all I can take from that.

My tech-savvy friend tried looking it up online but wasn't able to get around the fact that it was a different laptop trying to set things up or change it, not the laptop that originally set up the wifi and password.

That is the internal network address for many wireless routers' admin panels.
