Favorite non-Iphone cell phone?

My Samsung Galaxy SII is (finally) on it's last leg. I insist on having SWYPE, so Iphone is out.

Calls, texts, Facebook, pics, and occasional internet are all I use it for.
No need to handle music, games, documents, or anything else overly techie.

Compact/pocket size is good, I don't want or need a phone the size of a tablet. Any recs?

My parents have S3s and they're great! I have a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 which requires a network connection to do practically everything!

The S3s aren't too big, I can fit it in my pocket easily unless it has a case that makes it harder.

S2-4 are what I'd go with, I think there's an S5 but probably way expensive now.

I gave a s2 and it sucks! It freezes up all the time no matter what I do.
S3 isn't bad.

Never heard of the S3 mini. Knowing the size of an S3 I can imagine how small the S3 MINI is?

I have the Moto x by Motorola. Its under advertised, and its a secret treasure! Its the first Google powered phone, and is smarter than Siri. I love mine. It has something called Google Assist, where you can program it to help you out in certain situations. It will silence itself when you go to bed at night, but you can program it to make a noise when certain people call- Mine will only ring if its a relative after 8pm. It will also read your text messages out loud to you while you drive, and you can tell it what to write back- and it will send the message for you. No need to even touch or look at the phone. The phone is completely customizable, and automatically backs up all your photos to a Google drive, where they are stored safely and you can access them from any computer, anywhere. It's really an amazing phone.
