Help! Getting music OFF my ipod touch!

Ok! So my ipod touch is loaded with music- it's the first gen, not very big, so I bought a new one. The thing is, not all the music is on my computer, and I need to get the music off my old ipod, onto the computer.
Most ipods you can go into the folders and take it directly from there... Not the ipod touch! So does anybody know of any FREE programs to get music from ipod to computer? Or any ways of doing it "by hands"?

You need a program to copy the songs from the iPod Touch to the computer. There are plenty available, most cost a few dollars, but I've heard great things about SharePod which is also free:
