Ahem. Thank you iPhone for posting nothing. -_-

Father is getting me a laptop, told me to pick one. I've narrowed it down to these two. Which would you take? Please note, I am NOT looking for another suggestion. And I love HP, have no desire to look into another model.

The Envy - HP ENVY dv4t Laptop, Intel® Core

The Pavilion - 7004308 - Best Buy

ETA - Thanks! I don't care for Toshiba though, and my silly phone posted a blank thread. *eyeroll* No worries!

Lol..... I had an HP and the hinge broke after maybe 30 open and close cycles, so never again

I would pick the 15.6" screen, I have had several computers with AMD processors never a problem with them, it is a little faster than the intel also in the other computer

I had my Pavilion for 5 years. It had a seizure when I went to Korea but it came back to life just like new and lasted another two years before the charging port stopped charging. At that point, I just wanted a new one, it'd been 5 years! Lol.

Was it only the 15.6" that had the AMD? My mom voted the Pavilion for the bigger hard drive, but te Envy has more battery life, and all the fancy things like Bluetooth and the Beats audio. I can't decide!

Also, try not to factor in price. I want a good laptop, we don't care if one is more expensive than the other, lol.

ETA- A lot of stuff goes over my head. Does the Envy have the Wifi set up already like that Pavilion?

The 14" had the 9 hour battery, wow that is great.

The 15.6 did not say, I would guess about 6.5 hours, my 17.3 get 5 hours, the larger the screen the less the battery lasts

If you can handle a 14" screen, it may the way to go

Don't you just hate decisions

14" has bluetooth and wifi -- no number pad on right

15.6 has wifi only -- has number pad

I can handle the smaller screen, it's not that important to me. It's still bigger than my last one which was 13" I believe.

The battery life has me all excited! That's awesome! And I've never used Bluetooth in a laptop before so I'm not sure Ill use it. But I won't know unless I try, right? Lol.

I hate making decisions. That's why I am making you decide, lol.
