Talking Im so proud of myself!

if any of yall know know that i am CURSED when it comes to technology...literally.

ive gone through over 20 phones....10 ipods.....8 computers.....the list goes on..if its a piece of technology then it will break if i am even in the vicinity.

the sad thing is....i know alot about technology. i can tell people how to fix their computers...i just cant touch them myself haha.

anyways i wont go into all the really gory details about my technological ineptitude.

i have a 6 yr old WD passport (500gb hard drive) its amazing. its my baby and it has ALL of my files backed up to it....well it recently started acting up.

WD's are NOTORIOUS for having bad cable connections...ive gone through 3 cables....

anyways i hadnt used my HD on my nice compy (i have a nice $900 HP and a crappy $200 Compaq) so it wasnt connecting.....

i hit up my buddy who always helps me fix my technology and he couldnt help me either....

i got a new cord at the PC installed the most recent driver for it, did some other technological crap (i cant even explain what i did...mostly prayed haha) and PRESTO! working Harddrive!

i know it sounds sad....but i am just EXSTATIC that i managed to fix a piece of technology! yay me!
