Iphone or Ipad

For my birthday I am getting an iphone or ipad which one would be better?
1. My phone is about to die
2. My itouch is almost about to die
3. I like the ipad

Help
Even watching the videos I still can't make up my mind.

I would get the iPhone, ipads are to big to me, and do everything an iPhone does. They're. Both really cool though

Personally I would sugest getting the iphone. The ipad is pretty much a giant iphone, but without the phone. I have an iphone, they can be a real hassel, but so can alot of apple products.

Anyway out of the two I would suggest an iphone. :)

I would wait until the new iPhone come's out.

I agree that as between the two you should get the iPhone and wait until the newest version is available this summer as it will have a number of enhancements. As others have said, you should be able to do roughly everything the iPad can do with your iPhone, and you can take your iPhone with you just about anywhere.

Definitely the iPhone. Do you really want to lug something the size of a magazine around all the time? Plus it doesn't have the phone feature so you'll need to get a new phone as well.

It all depends what it is you want to do with it. What are your ideas? What is it you have in mind as far as usage goes?

If your phone is dying and you get the ipad, you will still have to get a phone. I've had an iphone since they first came out and love it. I'm on version 2 waiting to see what version 4 will be.

Def an Iphone... don't need those IPad bricks... :)
