Oshawapilot--Ah, I wasn't sure. I've never had any issues with my iPhone, so I was just guessing, as I said. Thanks for correcting ^^

The sensitivity of the internet baffles me.

I have a 5c and would not get another one. My Droid was much nicer and didn't use up data like the apple.

I have the iphone 5s and love it. I had the iphone 4 before for about 2 years and loved it too. Apple's customer service is about the best. I've had 2 iphones replace for free with damage that was my fault!

You can control all that if you care to look in the settings and learn how. The iPhone is data-centric, for sure, because it focuses heavily on the cloud.

That said, you CAN disable all that and it won't use hardly any data except for what you command.

If I go hunting and it's cold cold like 20 or below it will do that no matter how much it's charged. Now I always carry mine on an inside pocket it works

I have an iPhone 5 and love it absolutely to death. It's the one thing I am extremely careful with, it's always in a case, always has a screen protector on it etc. It lives in an otterbox. I wouldn't swap it for anything... My bf has a galaxy s4 and has had no end of problems with it, it has been sent away for repairs several times and keeps coming back with the same issues.

and like PrivatePilot said, you can control what apps use your data, or you can switch off the option and then certain apps will only use data through a wifi connection. I only have 500mg of data, and the facebook app sucks a lot of that, so I often just turn facebook off through data, and leave other smaller things going, then I can still receive iMessages because I haven't turned off all my mobile data.

My only complaint is having to charge it every night, but I use it a lot, and I mean a LOT so I really can't complain about that. However, it does charge really fast... Unlike my bfs s4 which takes forever!!

My friends iPhone 5 has the same issues the OPs is having, but she hasn't bothered to get it fixed or replaced.

I need a new phone but not concerned about a lot of apps, just a good reliable phone. My little clam always worked in -35 if kept in an inside pocket next to my body. I know next to nothing of the new phones but have to replace the clam because of a network change. I'm leaning toward the Samsung Mini. Any input?

Sorry, haven't read this, but frankly, your phone is just fine.

iPhones are very cold sensitive. When it gets cold, the battery freezes. If you don't want it getting dead on you, keep it on your person under a coat.

Warranty won't cover it, it's not broken.

I have an iPhone 4 (not 4S) and have a fee problems with it, but NOTHING like I had with my Droids. My Droids would randomly die, freeze, lose data (like pics and such) and were just junk. My iPhone will shut down Facebook every once in a great while, but that's the only problem I've ever had with it.
