Yayyyy! I'm just waiting for them to call me so I can go get it. Grr. I am sick of trying to use an iPod when I can't use someone else's laptop (I'm on my mom's right now because I'm at home. I usually use my bf's when he's at work and I'm not).

Geeeez! 1TB?! I've never seen a HD that big. I've also never looked though. Haha. Only 1TB external HDs. My External is only 320GB, but the entire contents of my crap on my laptop are on it and it doesn't make a huge dent at all..

    Awesome! Good luck with it!

Yeah, 1TB. It's almost a standard on desktops now days. I've had it for a month, and I'm already down to 600GB, haha. I play games, take pics, store movies and music and I do graphic design. Anything and everything I save is in top quality.

That makes sense. I've never shopped for a desktop, so I never considered what one's HD size might be. I can't imagine how much stuff is on the desktop at home. Since there are 4 of us, there are 4 different Users on it.

Bahhhhh. I just want them to hurry up! They said it would take about 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure it's been 3 weeks. I want a new computerrr!

Oh. I think I forgot to mention that I got the Asus. I loveee it. The only thing I don't like are that the speakers suck. If I have earphones in, it's fine, but just the built in ones suck and are quiet and have a very muted quality to them. Oh well. It won't kill me. Haha. I have speakers I can plug in.

Just a tip, update your drivers from stock. =) Sometimes it will help with sound-output quality.

(I still think Dell has the better warranty out of all companies...)
I've owned two Lenovo/IBM laptops and loved them both. A lot of big businesses use Lenovo/IBM for a reason.
I got a solid state hard drive as my last laptop died a painful death after it hit the floor from a very insubstantial distance. A solid state hard drive has no moving parts, so nothing to break. I paid for an extended warranty that covers accidental spills and dropping, too.

I got a new warranty that'll cover this one for 2 years of anything I do to it short of running it over. Although the original Geek Squad guys handled it improperly this time, I love Best Buy's warranty.

At least this Asus is entirely matted everywhere so it won't look like it's covered in food and grossness thanks to fingerprints all over. It's actually fairly grippy. I'm trying to think of something to compare it to. It's on the back of the screen and the handrest part.

Here I've got an Asus too. What is your model number(computer name and make)? I can give you the page with the links if I have that info.
