For my birthday I became the proud owner of a beautiful Acer laptop!!! (I'm like a proud parent lol.)
However, my family is still using Office 1999-03. Which causes issues with my school Office which is 2010 and has major compatibility issues, making it very difficult to bring work from home to school. My parents said they needed to update their Office and that I could choose because they don't mind which but the question is, what should I use?
It's between Office 2010 and Office 2013. Office 2010 I know how to use very well because it's what used on school computers. I've never even seen 2013.
I have Windows 8 on this laptop because it came with it but hope to use one of those thingies that make it look like Windows 7 because I need my Start button! Or I might keep it this way and learn how to use it. Not sure yet.
I'd really like your advice. If you have, have seen, know about, Office 2013, is it worth it? Or should I use 2010? Or should I wait for the next Office to come out, struggle for a little more with 99-03 and see what that's like? (I'd prefer not to do this.) I've been looking for info but am having trouble finding it, and some other reviews would be nice.
