im still debating between the two, but my hearts pulling me towards a galaxy. I already have an ipod touch, and I find iphones to be too basic. Plus, I love taking photos so I love the camera on the galaxy.

I recently switched over to the s5 from an iphone, and I'm totally in love. My only complaint is the issue of other iphones still recognizing my number as an imessage so I didn't receive some people's texts at first, but it doesn't sound like this would be an issue for you.

I am really happy with it, even the big size I am okay with. Just go with a phone that will work for your needs.

And yes, the camera is wonderful.

I love my galaxy S4 and I loved the S2 before. There a lot of great phones out there. I think whatever you choose you'll end up loving.

I had the S2 and LOVED it. It malfunctioned after less than a year, so took it to my shop.. and swapped it for a HTC mini 1. I won't ever look back!

My friend has a htc, don't like it. I find it slow and impracticable. I'm not 100% sure but I think I want an iphone. Still open for change though.

I do find that strange, it's been more reliable than my boyfriend's iphone (especially when we were on holiday) for things such as taking off aeroplane mode.. we had it on to prevent charges from text messages from providers... when we had to phone to get in to our appartment. Things like loading the camera too, and the pictures taken are far nicer and clearer than that of both samsung and the iphone :)

Her phone is quite old, she's had it for about 3 years now. I don't think its a bad phone, its just I personally don't like it.

Also, did you say that when your overseas you can still get charged for text messages from providers? I thought SIM cards don't work out of your own region.

*shrug* I have a S4 and I love it. It's crisp and clear, fast as heck, battery lasts forever...

My mom had had more issues with her iphones then what they are worth. I have had at LEAST 10 friends with iphone problems.

I asked this on the other thread (and am too lazy to go back and see if you answered xD) But I'm wondering what you mean by "too simple"? Apple is always on the cutting edge of technology xD

The sensitivity of the internet baffles me.
