Video stills

I have seen quite a few people here that post video stills as pictures and I was just wondering how in the world you do that. I have got some vids that would produce some awesome pix and would really appreciate it if someone could clue me in. Thanks.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Have you tried a screenshots? Pause the video, put it on foreground of your screen and push 'print screen' button. Open some photoshop program and crop the rest of screen out of your video picture.

Huh, I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a shot, thanks.

It's always fun to play with still shots haha

uggh i just realised the print screen button didn't show my cursor arrow, but the cursor on the pictures is supposed to be on the icon/link that the explanation box is beside. its pretty straightforward anyway

Cool, thanks Holly. I will have to look later tonight when I get home to see if I have that. My new computer is all kinds of tricked out so I don't know if it's on there or not LOL.
