Virus Memory card

Ok so we have figured out that the crashing computers happen when I insert my memory card. I do not ever put anything from the computer onto the card just from the card to the pc. So somehow a nasty virus has embeded itself on there. I don't know what I am going to do as far as getting the videos and pics off of it....everytime I insert it, everything crashes. Right now the site looks funny and I am having tons of pop ups and the only way I was even able to open the internet was to right click and browse. GRRRRRR I guess I'll have to figure something out. So beware, viruses can attatch to memory cards!

Well viruses can be transfered from any electronic medium. If your pc had a virus it might have triggered into your SD card as well. However crashes on a pc while connecting SD card can also be caused by something else. It is not always Virus.

Does your pc works fine if you don't connect your SD card into it? If yes then there is a registry problem and not a virus.

One of the best registry program is RegCure or Registry Mechanic, if you have either of those I would recommend to run it.

Other than that, if you do get any error messages please post them here so that we can help you further.

Regards

No it worked fine before I put my card in, then it crashed so I took my card out and restarted the computer, then pop ups continued to come up and I couldn't access the interent and it was really weird. We wiped and reformatted 3 pc's and now I got to get a new mem card lol
