What's your opinion on Netbooks and Kindles cuz I'm getting a Netbook and Kindle

I prefer the kindle to read books on, since it doesn't have a backlit screen. It actually looks like a book page.

We're an apple family and love the ipad. You can get the kindle app or the nook app and get books from either.. as well as books from itunes. So, if you have family/friends who have either accounts, you just use their log in and read their books.. :) convenient.. plus, ipad has tons of apps and well, everybody knows about the apple craze at the moment.. we have the original, so the ipad2 is much better with facetime, video, camera, etc.. just throwing that out there.. if you had the choice, for both quality and customer service, you can't go wrong with apple. :)

I wanted to ask the first time, if you are getting both, why do our opinions matter on what we would choose?
