Hi guys! I've been hopping around to different horse forums looking for people who may be interested in knowing some information I just became privy to a couple weeks ago.
For starters, my name is Morgan. My mom swears I wasn't named after the horse breed, but we all know the truth. ;) I grew up around horses, and now I'm lucky enough to work with them on a daily basis! I like to say I'm living the life. :)
Anywho, I went to a conference at Arabian Nights hosted by PATH a couple weeks ago, and I've been on a cruise ship since then so I didn't get a chance to share what I found out even though I've been DYING to. Apparently PATH is partnering with ACTHA (not sure if anyone's familiar with ACTHA, but I'm a member and know allll about them, so feel free to direct any questions or comments my way!) to host 1000 rides in one weekend across the country. It's record breaking, and a GREAT opportunity for all of those looking to get involved in or host therapeutic rides, or even just a fundraising ride or a ride just for fun!
Would anyone be interested, or interested in learning more? It's St. Patty's day weekend, so you have plenty of time to decide! But I just thought I'd stick my feelers out there and see if there's anyone who'd like to join in. :)
