Volunteering is going very well. I ended up skipping a couple of weeks (sick and then spring break), which kind of threw me off, but other than that I'm going every week and I'm really enjoying it. I went to Equest yesterday, but unfortunately I wasn't feeling very well so I had to leave before the class had ended. Luckily, the other volunteers helped out.

I hope Equest is a lot better than where I volunteer. The horses where I volunteer are extremely moody and can at times be dangerous for even the riders. :/

Most of the horses are not moody here. They're very gentle. But, horses are going to act like horses, whether they're therapy horses or not. They sometimes have off days.

It's the end of one journey, and on to a new one. I'm headed to Texas Tech in just a month! I'm almost done with Equest for the summer (I have to attend a graduation for the student teachers and help with their certification), and I'll be volunteering at the Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center during the school year.
