I am thinking of buying a vacation home in Barnard. Would love to bring my horse up occasionally. I know the GMHA trails in the Woodstock area are phenomenal, but does anyone know what the riding is like in Barnard?

I live in Vermont, about 45 minutes away from Woodstock. I'm not sure about trails in Barnard, but you'd only be about 15-20 minutes away from Woodstock. If you trailered your horses to GMHA it would be worth it, their trails and member days are fantastic. Even if you didn't transport to GMHA I'm sure you would find TONS of trails around your town/home.

Find a map of the local snowmobile trails. Many of them allow riding.
