Buck Creek - in the White River Valley of Washington

Rode there last weekend with the one of the local back country horseman's chapters. Lots of downed trees from last winter's storms still hanging around. The "white" river was more of a light tan but interesting nonetheless. The best part was that the trails and campgrounds share space with an active airfield! It was fun to get my guy to stand quietly when the airplanes took off (which wasn't a real frequent occurrence).
After the main events we went through and collected all the trail markers. By the time we got done he was covered in ribbons.Yes, my gelding is tough enough to wear pink!

More on the trails here

Cheers!
