Crossing downed trees safely - any suggestions?

OMG that is terrible. I have heard of the beetles killing the pines but I didn't expect it to look like that.

The local Cowboy Church is hopefully taking possession of the stable in the park...if that happens they are taking out tractors to clear this path and will haul the logs out of the way. Some logs to step over are really great but this particular one makes the ride cranky!
