I have an 11 year old Tennesse Walker who has taken to crow hopping when he gets excited. If our other horse gets ahead of him he starts doing it or if he's anxious or spooked about something he'll do it. And its at that point when he'll take off and I can't get him to stop. He has a problem where he won't turn left if he gets in a stubborn mood and most of the time there's either a ditch or a road with cars on the right so options are limited. He did it yesterday and finally I had to hold on long enough for no cars to turn him hard right and when I did that he hit the ditch and fell on me. My arm and leg are alittle messed up today and his behavior is intimidating me about riding (which is not like me). I've just considered myself lucky I didn't get seriously hurt yet. So please help me. How do I get him to stop this?
