Finally getting out and about in Washington

At last, the horse hauler arrived from Ohio so now we're mobile!!

Rather than take my little guy into the mountains for our first time away from the stable I took him to Redmond Ridge. It's a smallish trail system in the heart of Redmond, WA (home of Microsoft) of all places. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say the trails are groomed! Well marked and covered with a thick layer of wood chips (out here they call wood mulch "hogs fuel" go figure).

As I'm having a little difficulty in adding pics to this post here's a link to my trail review. Redmond Ridge (Redmond Ridge Park in Redmond, Washington)

For our second outing, yesterday, I took him to the Redmond Watershed. I'll post the details once I download the pics etc. (BTW it was even better than the ridge!)

Hope you enjoy,

Wow, that looks like a beautiful place. Lucky you. I wish I lived somewhere where I had nice trails I could access without hauling my horse there.
