Smile First Post

Hello I am new on here! Just got my first paint horse and I am very excited. Mostly will be trail riding and maybe taking some cutting lessons. I can't believe I finally have a horse, now what? Im searching all over trying to learn as much as I can about care, training, etc.. I feel a bit overwhelmed until I realize, if I can raise two kids I ought to be able to care for a horse I have wanted my whole life!

Ah, I have HF on my phone, it gives me the mobile version and I always use the full site version. It's too hard to see on my phone and no pictures.. ):

Congrats on your horse! We do need these pictures ASAP. ;)

Lots of good information and discussion...and
I think horses are easier than kids. They don't want to use the car, wear designer clothes, or live on the cell phone! : )

And if you give them the opportunity to graze on good pasture, they are willing to get out and work for at least some of their living.
