Anyone ever been to a trail or beach with your horses in ga? Did you hate it? Love it? Good place for a first time? Share here! I'd like to take mine somewhere in March.

You MUST go to Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island. They allow horses. Let those beach galloping dreams come true! It's a beautiful place.

Also, Dawson Forest is Dawsonville has great bridle trails. We to CTRs there, but it's opened to ride any time, except during hunting season.

Hi, I am a GA rider too! We are in the North western part, near Dalton. I would love to ride on the beach but I bet my hubbys horse would go ballistic from the waves and noise.

I ride mostly in the cohutta Wilderness area, it is beautiful. I have ridden in the smoky mountains and cohutta is better, because there are practically no tourist!!!

I also have ridden at Dry Creek, between Calhoun/LaFayette and and Pigeon Mountain.

Brighteyes.. can you tell me about Dawson Forest?
