I always wear a helmet and after a while you get so used to it that when you get on a horse without one you think "I'm forgetting something". Personally, I think he should wear a helmet.

I would think that a 6 and 7 years olds reasons for not wanting to wear a helmet would be because it doesn't look cool. To me that isn't a good enough reason, but each parent makes their own choices.

[QUOTE=Speed Racer;1153063]There was nothing in Angelina's post that indicated she was or wasn't in favor of 'big gubmint gettin' in her bidness'. She merely pointed out the information that it's a law in Oz, not that she thought it was right or wrong.QUOTE]

Hey speedracer, I too from her post that she thought it was a good thing.

You give the confused icon because you thought I was "spoiling for a fight". Then you insult my intelligence with your "'big gubmint gettin' in her bidness'". As if my believing in personal liberty makes me somehow less intelligent than you. I can assure you it takes alot more intelligence to think for ones self then it does to just go with the flow and let other people think for you. Do you think that any government agency should be able to tell YOU to wear a helmet?

I obviously want whats best for my children or I would have never asked. I thought maybe I was being too paranoid.

This, too, shall pass........
