Just wanted to share :)

I just wanted to share my GREAT trail ride I went on and how awesome my boy did! I have really only concentrated on showing with him up until this summer so the idea of a trail ride was very weird for him so we have been experiencing lots of new things and over coming them. He has become a pretty solid horse not really spooking at much, not even deer. One thing he hasnt overcome is his issue with big rocks (i have no idea where that comes from) but anyway today we went on a long trail ride and we encountered our first water crossing! And he did AMAZING! We crossed a river that was about a foot deep and he was awesome then we went threw another one that was like 3 feet deep and he did amazing again!

It was a beautiful l day and an awesome ride. I guess I just wanted to share :)

That's great, Trail riding is so much fun don't you think ? :) Definitally works with a horse all round !

Sounds wonderful--that's what trail riding is all about!
It's not unusual to be a rock horse. A couple of my horses are convinced that a horse-eating troll lives behind every one over a certain size.

Good for you! Glad you had a great ride...I'm jealous! Lol
