Sequoia national park

Any one have any info or experience on trail riding in sequoia NP in California we want too go solo and not pay for a guided tour

You can go online and download a map ! A topo map at that. Some of the trails are getting ready to close already. What part of the Seq's ? You can also order a map on line.
You may want to wait until early summer late spring to make sure all the trails will be open.
I have ridden in Big Meadow area.. Siretta peak, in the John Muir Wilderness.
Be sure to bring your own drinking water. I don't know how many of the creeks are running, been a dry year.
Never heard of a guided tour in them, but someone may do that. It is all 'pack in and pack out' don't leave shavings or straw or hay behind. If we line tied we picked put the poos.
