Trail riding vacation advice

Hi everyone,
I booked a horse back riding vacation through equitours where the group rides through the country side to the next hotel for that night. The trip will cover all paces except for the gallop. I've been riding for six years and am very comfortable in the ring but have never gone faster than a trot on trails. On the booking form is a space for listing your experience and based on that was told I would do fine on the ride. Reviewers have mentioned how sure footed and good the horses are so I feel confident in the company. However, riding through open country is something new to me so any advice or stories to share would be appreciated. Many thanks!!

Outside of some research into their safety record. If they have a good safety record, you will probably be fine. They are meant to handle all levels of riders and their horse. Once you trail ride, you won't want to go back to a ring again. Or at least that is the way I feel about it.
