Trails in Arkansas?

After my horse is broke to ride, I would like to take him on a few trails. We live near central Arkansas, so I was wondering if any of you have any experience with the trails here. I'm looking for beginner trails that would be easier on my horse, then we could work our way up if we decided to do so. What would any of you suggest? Do you have any favorites?

Hi fellow Arkansan! There are far too few of us on here, lol!

Not sure about central ar, but I exclusively trail ride north of I-40 in the Ozark National Forest. Thousands of miles around here to explore! It's rougher but worth it, I ride barefoot and they do fine as long as I'm careful.
Check out Devils Den and Buffalo River State Park
For some easier trails if they aren't too far from you.
