update on ACTHA ride

Some expressed interest in my first experience with this group.

I just loved it - BEAUTIFUL site - wonderful riding. Not following a path but bushwacking over pristine land following the "pink tags".

Obstacles were NOT easy - need to know how to sidepass - I do not know how and neither does my pony. That was clear. Most, if not all, in my group had lots of trouble with those obstacles so the challenge was there but there wasn't a sense of competitiveness.

Also, people were RIDING, not just "riding while chit - chatting". There wasn't a lot of talking and I liked that.

Anyway, will definitely do it again.

GREAT!!! I was told they were pretty good, but you never know~Glad it went well and you enjoyed it. I think I'' give it a try as soon as I learn the side pass thing, too!! (hahaha!!) Thanks for letting us know the outcome!! (I also heard they aren't terribly expensive and offer a range of stuff to do~someone said they offer some overnight camps, but don't know for sure.)

Awesome! I want to start doing ACTHA rides and was looking for some feedback. I REALLy need to learn to sidepass etc and start conditioning my horse!
