yellowstone...gettin' ready

I start helping my outfitter friend pack gear for our back to back packtrip to Yellowstone. I am helper, guide, wrangler and all around roustabout for my outfitter buddy's 2 trips into the Lamar Valley. We have 6 guests on each trip and my daughter gets to come on the second. :). The trips go to the same camp...23 miles in and I will be leading a 4 horse string. After a total of 12 days hauling, riding, loadingetc. I have a feeling I will be coming out thinner than I went in!:):):):). Wish me luck. It's going to be fun!!!!!!!

You will enjoy it. Beautiful country,
And there is nothing like spending 24 hrs a day for 12 days straight to build a bond between you and your horse.

I wish I was able to bring my horse but no such luck. I will have to wait for the wagon train in Sept for that. :) I went in last year to the Lamar but this year will be a different camp so I am excited. I will definitely bring back pics. :)

Wow you are going to have a BLAST! Can't wait to see photos!

I worked in Yellowstone years ago and would go back in a heartbeat. Lamar Valley is epic!
