Can I show in an Abetta western saddle??

I just received 2 free Abetta western saddles from a friend, and they are so light and they fit my horse and I perfectly. But I just recently went to a western show and saw that most of the horses there had leather saddles with ALOT of silver on it. My 2 Abetta saddles do have some silver on it, but not near as much as the leather saddles did as that show. What should I do? I can either use my Aunt's leather/silver saddle, which is really heavy and about 4 times heavier than my Abetta saddles, or can I just use my Abetta saddle while I'm showing??

I don't ride western but I assume that so long as you aren't showing in any really big shows, you should be fine. :)

I did local, schooling shows in my black Abetta and didn't have any issues.
