Havent Shown in 10 years - need help getting dressed.

Has the title says, I have been out of the ring for 10+ years. I plan on jumping back into the local circuit next season and I need help in the shoe and pants department. I'm confident I can find a reasonable show blouse, but I have no idea what type of boots are in at the moment. I'll be doing mostly WP and showmanship, with some novice/beginner reining. I'm not worried about the reining classes as the attire is more casual, but can you guys tell (show) me what type of slacks, chaps, and shoes yall are using in your WP classes?

Crepe sole boots and square toes are big right now. Well crepe soles have been for years...I LOVE them.

For WP, it's rail shirts; lycra body with collar and cuffs and crystals if you like a little glitz. I just wear jeans under my chaps. I included a pic of me and my horse for you:

Those square toed boots remind me of a diver's flippers!! I love Q-Baby jeans, they are sooo comfortable. I prefer the rounded toe boots and Ariats fit me perfectly. Unless I'm going to a breed show, I dont' wear chaps.

Since I'll just be starting out at local shows, would you suggest I save the money on chaps and just go with "show pants" or jeans?

LOL..ya, some of the square toes are TOO square, if you know what I mean. I had a pair that aren't that flipper-ish.
