How do you tie a girth?

    Hehe, It took me like 400x to figure out that stupin "neck tie" knot yesterday. Lol, but it does come in handy, and the more you do it the better you get at it (and you remember how to ... ) lol... sorry I wasnt any help.

    I've only ever done the "necktie" knot. I kind of want to try just putting the clip in one of the holes and putting the rest through the latigo holder. I've never done that before.

    Also, you can get converters to put on a western saddle and use a girth instead of a cinch if it makes it easier until you get it down.

    It's easy, and most of us here in Texas do just that. I don't care to spend extra time getting the "knot" undone. (That's what the tong is for!!) I have been doing it for over 20 years!!
