If you chaps are black....use a black based pad. It's pretty much a "rule" of thumb in AQHA that the pads should match the chaps...ESPECIALLY if you are doing HMS.

They're smooth black leather ;) I think I'm going to just use my black pad, then. Pink shirt it is Thanks!!

Here's a picture of me without the pink shirt yet... It's what I wore at the last IEA show.

I like that you have a nice well shaped hat! Your hat is the MOST important part of the whole outfit. The current style is the sides brought up even a little more than yours in this pic. Last year at my AQHA shows I saw a TON of hats with brims REALLY squared up!

Oh wow O.o This seems like the style in IEA, but I haven't really done many quarter horse shows in the past
