Saddle size help?

I did the hip-to-knee measurement for my seat size, it came out to 16".
A saddle i'm in the process of buying is size 15".
Will it still be okay to ride in?

Diffent saddles sit different. Youd be best to ride in a saddle first I know it's not always an option.

How tall are you and what is your body frame like...or weight I should day. I'm 5'7" and weigh 128 and I ride in a 16" seat. The hip-to-knee measurement doesn't work with western saddles. It also depends on what the seat shape is like; some have a high rise in the front, some are flatter. 15" is on the small size depending on what type of saddle and what type of riding. I see far too many people riding in a western saddle that is just too small for them.
