Yes, you are right. Raywonk has a long way to go in the spelling and grammar department, but I still want to hear her opinion.

I am a spelling snob myself but a good horseman doesn't have to be good in her English classes to be a good horseman. So, cut it out. If you find that that's the biggest thing you can be critical about a post, then why are you replying at all?

I have to deal with the same thing all the time about halter horses. It's not just WP. There are people that will bash any thing and every thing.

My name is now my horses on a dor not my horse sonador

I am realy sorry about my spelling. My computer will not do the spell cheak and my dislexic (sure i did not spell that right) has always made me a bad speller. But hay I am a welder who needs to spell and my horse cant spell WHOA but he knows what it means. I try to make my post as clear as I can so what I have to share gets threw.

I wasn't saying it as mean, I was merely pointing it out. Sorry if I came off that way :)

Horses are scared of two things... Things that move and things that don't.

I am new here but this is a timely thread. I currently show reining horses. I bought a cute pleasure bred gelding last year and he is currently in full time training for pleasure. I have a bad back due to a bad rollover truck accident 5 years ago. Because of my injuries I do not believe that I will be able to continue to do reining much longer and I will have to switch to western pleasure. I cannot believe the comments and flack I have gotten for this It is crazy!! There are a few disciplines I don't care for and some breeds of horses I don't like either but I would never make fun of either of them to someone doing it ......what is wrong with people

I hate when people bash Wp horses! I was at a local show, and I was on one of our boarders paint crosses, who was trained in WP. One woman (she had a HUGE shiny warmblood) sneered at me, said I had a useless mutt, and rode away. Haha, she came in fourth, and me in second :)

Most people that bash WP horses as a whole are just insanely jealous.

I have to admeat 15 yrs ago I was a kid so give me a brake. I use to think that riding western was so eazy and that wp was boring and whas not worth the time. HA HA HA. Of course my mom reased me better to ever say anything mean to anyone. As I got older and my TB jumper and I had a major accsadent (which I did not ride agien for a yr after) It was an old Rachking horse and a western saddle that got me going agien. My friend introduced me to AQHA cause we had more of those shows than Hunter shows. I road my first wp when I was 16 or 17 and my mouth droped I could not belave how hard it was to do what she was doing. I laph and smile now. The people who know me know think I know nothing about English riding. So I blame it on pure stupidety. Once they feel that smooth gait and all the power behind it they will change thier mindes.

live for the moment.
