I can't tell unless I see the ad, but Select is an age group for competition in AQHA.

What are your goals with your future horse?
Without knowing that, it's hard to give advice on what we think of any particular horse.

Am I missing where it says how old he is? Do you have kids that will want to ride him too?

he is 9... just me. I am a novice and he would be my first "show" horse... I have tons of trail horses that i adore, but looking to get into the crazy show world...

He doesn't "wow" me, but seems like he could be a good solid mount for lower level showing.
I'm not sure what the show horse market is like there, but is his price in line with others with similar accomplishments & training?

well, I am in Texas... most horses that have been shown at all are 12,000 and up... and any lower price you get into the " he needs about 90 days or so training" or the "we havent rode him in 2 years" but we did show him once! type situations... I haven't gone to see him yet, i am going to this saturday .
