I kind of like him. I think he could be an all arounder, in the beginning he looks like you could push him out into a decent english trot. He definitely could do reining and western pleasure I think he could hold his own. I don't know many horses that can walk/jog/lope, back, halt, and do turns on the hindquarters with no bridle....

I think $8K is a little steep for him but he looks like a 'packer'....a beginners show horse...those don't come around every day. And you can't even train em to do it. They either tolerate beginner mistakes or they don't. He looks like an honest enough fella. If you like him but not the price, why not make an offer. Let the dollars do the deciding. Most people price high expecting to get 85% of what they ask. So you could offer $6500 and hope to get him around $6800.

I think the jog just needs impulsion. He looks to have pretty movement, just no oomph behind it.

Did anyone else watch the video in it's entirety? Has he been shown?

He has a few points in western pleasure and trail, and has been shown by a master rider. He was originally priced at 9.. And the lowest she will go is 8.. I will try to haggle more when I get there but she might be set at that price.

I would pay 8 for him as long as his hocks were in good shape. He would be something I would be interested in...

I did just skim the video but just looked again. The bridleless stuff is certainly nice and I really think that he is a well broke horse but...I am concerned with something with his front left leg. Just looks....umm...wonky? Anyone else see that?

I just took another look and I see what you mean, he looks like his ankle is week or collapses...there is a little too much hyperflexion when his weight is on it. It could be vid angles but it does look wonky.

I would get a serious vet check on this horse, especially at that price!

The front left leg is a bit crooked, but don't see any bad fetlock movement.

Thank you guys for all the responses ! We just left, he passed his vet check, so maybe it was the video angle, and we did use our own vet. He did run into a fence and get a good little gash on his left shoulder right before that video. He also had xrays and passed those. We are really considering him! I will take a look at the video I took today and compare it !

Well... I like him for what it's worth (from what I've seen). How tall is he?
