    Barrel Saddle to Roper.

I rode in my New (to me) roping saddle for the first time today. Man was it sooooo comfy! The only thing is I felt like it slung my legs out behind me. I've ridden in nothing bit barrel saddles for the past 10 or so years, and I guess I just got used to the position it puts you in. The comfort of the ride made up for it though. Has anyone else noticed a big differnce in the position different saddles put you in or is it just me?

Lol thanks! The only thing that hurts so far is my ankle. Need to twist the right stirrup a little more.

Team roping and calf roping saddles have a tendency to do that especially calf roping saddles. It will take a little experimenting to find your balance in it :)

Yup! Rope saddles are made to stand you up and push you forward, so hello new riding muscles!
