beginner western rider looking for places to ride

I live in the dfw area in texas and I am looking for good priced barn for beginner riders. I've ridden a few times before but I don't know enough to be really good. Any advice?

Congratulations on taking up a sport that can last you a life time! I would begin by goggling for riding clubs in your area. You may also find them on Craigslist. I would also go to some local tack shops and ask them about any clubs.

I suggest a club especially since you are a beginner and you can get a lot of help from that kind of association.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Welcome. I'm in the DFW area (actually the FW area) and can maybe help out. Where are you looking and what areas would be convenient for you? There are some great riding clubs in the Ft. Worth area (and some that probably aren't as great) and I would be glad to share what I know. What type of riding do you do or what type are you interested in?

Right now I am wanting to get better at the basics of riding in a western saddle. Eventually I may do rodeo stuff I don't know yet. But right now I just want to get better at riding in a western saddle
