Question Can anyone tell me what this means?

My birthday is coming up, and one of the things on my list is a braided leather hackamore. But I'm having troubles of trying to understand how you know the size is just right for your horse. I have a quarter horse and his bit size is 5", not sure if that gives info but, could you guys look at his website please this is the hackamore I want on my list... Braided Leather Hackamore | BIW1204 | Greenhawk

If you need more info just say so either on my horse or on the website.

Thanks! :)

I don't see a size option on that page. Are you asking in general? I am also considering a hackamore, so hopefully someone post!

So... are you essentially buying the nose piece and then attaching it to your headstall?

I know they sell different sizes if you have a mule or draft but other than that I think its a one size thing.

It's not my first choice in a hack I don't think, but I have faith in the ability of your hands. ^^
