I don't want to high-jack the thread or anything but since there are multiple drill lovers here I have a question...

Does anyone know of any good, upbeat, country songs for a drill? My team is starting the process of thinking up a song and most of the suggestions have been shot down. The hard thing seems to be finding a fast enough song, since our drills are typically done at pretty much full tilt when we can, that doesn't reference alcohol, drugs, sex (anything not family appropriate basically) but is still a newer song. Or what are some of the favorite songs you've seen used for a drill?

Last year our Grand Entry song was Home by Deirks Bentley and the Drill song was Footloose by Blake Shelton.

I like "Loud" by Big N Rich.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

I am currently on a drill team here in Oregon, it is definitely a lot of fun. I had never heard of drill team before and once I joined, I knew it would be a long time hobby. I've seen latigo 'N lace perform at competitions, they are excellent!

I shared a drill from last year, but this was one of our state qualifiers this year. This team is the only high school team big enough to field TWO teams of 8 and still have kids left out on the sidelines....HUGE team of kids and they always do a very good job. I loved this one.

This was at the second meet, at the third meet they were HAULIN' in this drill and made it even faster than it already was. Incredible to me for girls between 14-18 years old.

I love Country music, but I don't like it in drills....
One of my most favorite rides was to Lady Gaga's "Just Dance":)

For a faster country song try Two Step by Laura Bell Bundy
