Hey everyone. So I sorta had a short lesson that was free from a lady who was riding in the arena today. I learned how to post correctly! I am still going to have to work on it but it makes it soooo much easier to trot and we are more collected which is nice.
I was practicing speed barrels today and things went great. Thing is I am learning my shoulder in so I need to make sure I keep my posture up. We did pretty well though except she got too excited or p*ssy when when I was making her gallop fast to the gate so she let out three bucks and I was okay the two times but third time I held onto her neck to make sure I stayed in my seat but ended up sliding off to straigten out the saddle.
We kept working on it and we got better as time went on.

After a month of practicing on the barrels and posting I think I might go to an event to see how we do.

Thought I would share how my day went. Plan on riding after I get off work :)
