Gymkhana

Hi.
When I first moved to my house, in february, they had signs in the shed, that had 'gymkhana' on it and I was wondering exactly what this was.
I was looking on youtube to see what it was and I take it that its a rodeo kind of event ? Like just with lots of different events that are western.. like barrel and pole bending etc?
Can someone please tell me exactly what Gymkhana is lol as I hate to continue guessing

Horse games!!!!!

The games vary but here's some that you would most likely find:

Texas Rollback (my favorite)
Indiana Flag Race
Cloverleaf (aka Barrel Racing)
Keyhole (desensitize your horse to white flour on the ground)
Speed and Action (also really fun)
Pole Bending

I just did my first one with my horse a few weeks ago. It was a blast!!! It really gests your horse used to crazy stuff. We had to drop balls into buckets, dump water into a butcket (that was a disaster! Lol) it's fun!!
