    Nice saddle!

    Try riding with split reins, I had that problem all the time when I rode with my english reins, finally the light bulb clicked and I was like "So THAT'S why they use split reins!"

    If you were loosing your stirrups I suspect you had them adjusted a notch or 2 too long. Try raising them up a little.

    I did not use that black saddle pad on my horse with that western saddle. I just put the saddle on the stand to clean and take pictures. I just used the pad to keep the saddle from slipping off the stand. When I rode my horse western, I used a western pad.


    To iridehorses

    The stirrups were all the way up on the top hole and they were still long. :o(
