I went riding today! (image heavy)

Hi Guys,

Well, im sitting here grinning from ear to ear, I have had such a perfect day out with Joseph (the one I posted about -"Is he too old"-).
It started out fairly well, cos he let me catch him (he's usually a bugger to catch) and then we loaded him up and off we went. I started out in the arena, which he found a touch boring, but its been about 2 months since he's been for a good ride so I thought i'd just warm us both up. Anyway, he bopped along happily, so we went out on the bush trail. My mum came on her appy and it was such a laugh. Her appy, Dakota, isn't the bravest of souls, so we went first. The branches and things were too low for us, but just fine for her (how annoying). Anyway, we're walking along and im chattering away to joseph and we come to a tree that had fallen down and some of the branches were coming over the track. I told joseph to go wide (like he'd understand that! Lol) and he stopped, looked back at me as if to say "Huh?" and then kept walking, whilst still looking at me. I turned his head back around and had a good laugh. Anyway, we had a fantastic time, he absolutely LOVED it and well me, im still loving it!
Anyway, here are some photo's of the boy, just ignore the rider, I HATE having my photo taken lol

He's beautiful.

He's 20 years old, 16.3HH (although he doesn't look it lol) and legs like tree stumps!

He's got an incredibly loooooong stride a nice head set, but what un-nerves me the most is the length of his neck, he's a bluddy giraffe! Lol

More pix for you too!

I love him to bits, he's absolutely adorable.

He's not the bravest of souls, is inclined to want to climb in your pocket if he see's something that shouldn't be, for example: a leaf turned the wrong way, a scary looking twig with a troll under it, you know, those sorts of things lol

I'm hoping that over time we'll get used to each other and become friends, and he learns that he can trust me. He really has trust issues, but we're working on them!
