larger western shirt bands?

So I'm looking to buy my first western shirt for an upcoming show, only "problem" is it has to be plus size. Not huge, but a xl or xxl to be on the safe side. I live on Long Island so it's not like I can hop into the car and head to... Actually I don't know where you get "western wear" from, Tractor supply? We do have a "western wear" store, but I really don't want to pay the retail mark up because this store is more like a "fashionable" place to shop instead of "functional" and hence more expensive. Do anyone know of any good brands that make plus size shirts?

Also, if anyone has one hanging around I'd be willing to take it off your hands, if I'm a fan of the color and whatnot.

I buy my show shirts off of EBay.
Some sellers get the brand samples and sell them for about 1/3 of the retail price. Most of my shirts are not even "western" but rather nice long sleeved, collared, button up/snap shirts.

My friend has luck at target, personally I don't like the way their shirts fit. Always tight in the shoulders and to short in the back. *

I figure worst case I can head to JcPenny or Sears or something to pick up a nice button up but I kind of want something slightly "flashier". I found a nice shirt on eBay, looks like a light blue and silver plaid on white with a horseshoe design across the shoulders on the back. It should complement my mare well. She is a bright bay paint and my pad will be either tan or black.

This is the shirt I'm looking at right now:

This is the pretty girl it has to look good with, not me obviously:

Here is us... I was a bit skinnier, about 15 lighter (well not skinny by any stretch of the imagination):

I think that shirt would look awesome with your girl! I like that it would go with black or brown easily.

Funny, my english show shirt is the same color and pattern type . It would look good with just about any horse and matches just about anything. I've also been looking at solid yellow (light), purple (royal), and khaki or black.

I think royal purple would look stellar, too.

In my opinion, you just can't go wrong with purple. I am 61 years old, and am still a "pink and purple" person. I guess you don't have a Cavendars Wester Wear near you? I love your horse, and that shirt. Good Luck!!

Port Authority shirts work well.
