I finally found a place where they sell my favorite bit of all time. I've yet to find a horse that didn't do well in it. It's got nice, short shanks that swivel and the combination of sweet iron and copper in the mouthpiece seem to be well liked. So long as she is well prepared and has at least the basics of neck reining down, then the transition to a curb should be relatively easy. I suppose you could use the same bit for gaming, but I am a firm believer that when you are doing high speed events where there is a lot of direct reining, snaffles are the way to go.
