    Riding Ms. Gandy (pictures)

It's been beautiful outside, the humidity is much lower and I've been riding a bit more. Gandy's getting a bit better, doing her nice, slow little jog for me again instead of fighting so much with me.

Check out my new helmet... I wish I had body armor made out of the same stuff, because it's still going to hurt, a LOT, if I fall.

Anyway, wish I was 20 lbs thinner and 20 years younger, but it is what it is :) And, yes, my leg keeps creeping forward on me, I gotta work at keeping it under me more.

Look at how much her pastern is flexed on the front leg on this shot, WOW, I never realized just how much they use that joint, and she's only jogging here....

    She is super cute!

And you are crazy for wanting to be 20 pounds lighter. =P You are so tiny/thin! Lucky!

Thanks Hollybee, I think she's cute too!

Thanks dominoschica, my clothes hide my weight. The older you get, the pounds slowly creep on you, and it gets harder and harder to get the weight off, but I'm trying!!

I have never met a woman who was happy with her body.

LOL, I'm happy enough with it, except for the arthritis and the extra pounds that have crept on due to slowing metabolism, aging, etc. They say that every decade after 40 you put on 10 lbs! I'm 52 now and I am 20 lbs over my ideal weight, so I guess "they" (whoever they are) have it right!!

On that note, Ms. Gandy could stand to lose a few as well. Her girth is tight! But once the summer grass dies down, she'll lose it, so I don't worry too much about her.

You look really good, and so does Ms. Gandy! I wish all I needed to lose is 20#! (Actually, I've recently lost more than that - but I'm still WAY over weight!) At least you can get in the saddle without help!

You two look great together! Gandy is beautiful! And I hope I will look as good as you at 52! You don't need to lose 20lbs at all.
