Smile Saddle Pad question

Today i went to the tack store and i saw a western saddle pad that i wanted..but it looked small to me. The measurement was 30 by 30.. So i was wondering if it would fit with my wintec western saddle that i have. There is a teal saddle pad on ebay that i want..thats also 30 by 30... i have posted pics of the saddle on here before..but i forgot what you said about it. So here i go again...

So let me know if you think the 30 by 30 saddle pad will fit the saddle.

Thanks.

30 x 30 is about the smallest dimensions you can get in a horse size pad. Although it wouldn't work for my big saddle, based on your pictures, it will probably work for yours. Best way is to measure your saddle - I'm betting it's about 28" or a little less.

It would most definitely work.

I use a 29" (long) saddle pad, and my saddle is a fairly large training saddle and I've never had any problems.

I once used a round skirted saddle with my pad and the pad was more than long enough.

I am pretty sure it would work. Your saddle isnt to large at all.

It would definiley work! I have seen some trail pads they make that are in the shape of a saddle, way smaller than that. =]

Oh, yeah. 30 x 30 would definitely work for your saddle. If it was a bigger style roping, ranch, or trail saddle with large square skirts, you would probably need a 32x32 but for yours, 30x30 will be fine.
